I have Android phone with 3G and I am getting good Internet speed as well. Now I want to connect my laptop with the Internet connection of my mobile phone i.e. 3G. I don't have USB modem to connect directly from 3G. How could I share the same Internet connection of mobile phone i.e Android phone with my laptop or other mobile phones and computer in my home.
You can share 3G Internet connection on Android phone with other devices like laptop, Desktop, other mobile and touch devices. Enable portable hotspot or USB hotspot to share 3G connection of phone. Follow the below steps in your Android phone,
- Go to Settings panel - Open Wireless and network - Click on "Tethering & portable hotspot" - Now you can enable either USB tethering or Portable Wi-Fi hotspot If 3G Internet is running on your phone, you can open your laptop and check the Wi-Fi network connection. You will see a new network connection as your phone. Select that network and then you can browse Internet on your device with 3G Internet connection of your Android phone.
Portable hotspot and tethering is also available in Apple iPhone. If you are having iPhone, you can share the 3G connection from that device as well and browse Internet on other devices of yours.
