Post Tabs and Genesis framework not displaying properly

Hi There
Very new to this, but post tabs was just what i was looking for.
So, I have probably done something very stupid, but my problem is that I cannot get the content of each tab to show separately under each tab:

This is what I entered:

Post Tabs showing up as bulleted list instead of tabs?

The Wordpress Post Tabs is a great plugin for those of us that don't want/can't get deep into making that happen otherwise - so thank you!

But there seems to be some inconsistencies in loading - my tabs are now showing up as a bulleted list at the top of the page, rather than the clearly visible and useful tabs that they were showing up as last week.

Has anyone solved this issue? Doesn't look like there is much actual support here on this forum, but it's worth a shot!

Slider stopped working after upgrade to WP 3.3

Great plugin and I have it used it in my sidebar. Unfortunately, it only appears on the homepage and not on any of the post-pages.

I have recently 'checked' the Multiple Slider Feature, could this have something to do with it?

Wordpress Posts Tabs not refreshing

Hi there,

I have installed Post Tabs on a site which is being used in multiple pages. What we have noticed is that if you click on a tab in one page and then go to another with tabs (which has the same tabs (it's for profile pages, so each has Overview, Bio, etc.) then it opens the same tab as was opened on the previous page. Is there any way of refreshing the pages each time so it goes to the first tab each time?

I have ticked the Reload the page/post everytime the tab is clicked box (not sure it is working though).

I want the content on my slider to link back to the post. Currently only the post title (which I'm not displaying) and the image link back. Is there a way I can do this and is it possible to look at this as an enhancement?

Smooth Slider not unchecking options

I am experiencing a weird problem with my install of Smooth Slider.

If I check the 'Add this image to' slider in the media, it adds it properly. but when I go to deselect it, it doesn't. It always remains selected no matter what I do?

Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?

Wrong Display after changing page language

Hello, I use your wonderful smooth slider (latest version on wordpress 3.3.1).

My website uses 2 languages, one RTL (hebrew) and one LTR (english).

Everything worked great when there was one language (hebrew) and the default language in the system was Hebrew.
But when I added a second language, I had to change the default language to English (inside wp-config.php). After that change, the display is correct only in the English pages of my website.

Example for English page (see on the right sidebar):

Note 1: changing the language did not change the dir attribute of the HTML element. On hebrew pages it is still defined as ltr. I use php code to set it to rtl just above the end element of the head tag.

Note 2: I use two smooth sliders after checking the relevant checkbox and creating one also with English posts (same settings for both obviously).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Smooth Slider Transition Effect

Hey guys,

The problem is that the plugin contains a single type of transition (the default): swing.

Can someone please guide me into how I can change the transition type to something like fading? From what I've read, I have to use the .animate() function from jQuery, more specifically the easing attribute.

I understand that it must be done using the jQueryUI, maybe adding plugins to existing jQuery? The problem is I am a total noob with jQuery and would really appreciate some guidance.

Smooth Slider when at last slide -> jump to first without passing through all of the intermediates

Hey there,

I would like to know how can I edit the plugin so that when it reaches the last slide, it uses the normal effect (as in same transition - from left to right) to reach the first slide (giving the impression it's in a continuity, basically not going back to the first slide).

Would honestly appreciate the help :)

Smooth Slider Options Not Showing In Post Editor

For some reason the Smooth Slider box within the Post Editor on my site does not show up anymore. It used to show up right under Revisions and does still show up on my Page Editor, but not on the Post Editor. I have Version 2.3.5 and tried deactivating and reactivating - No Change. Then tried deactivating all plugins except Smooth Slider and still no change.

I've looked for others having similar issues and have not found anything.

Any ideas?

Jquery conflict with Smooth Scroll

I am using Smooth Scroll on my homepage. I am already linked into the jQuery library because I have written some other Jquery functions for my design. These work great. If I disable my link to the JQuery library then smooth scroll works great, but all my Jquery functions stop working on the rest of the page. How do I get both to work together? So that smooth scroll and my custom functions all work

Hello all,

I have like this problem, when I'm viewing smooth slider in my admin panel priview, it appears ok. One post per one slide. Like this: http://www.gameblog.lt/1e.JPG

But on my index page it's showning not one post per one slide, but like 5 posts in one time, see screen:

Any ideas how to fix that?

The slider runs fine but i get the following error before the slider. As it is the top of my front page its not ideal! Any ideas what it is and how to overcome it?

Issue with thumbnails [Related posts slider]

I'm having an issue with the thumbnails being stretched. I have it set for 200w by 100h. You can see it here at http://foododdity.com . I have placed the slider in the header. I doubt that the theme has thumbnail support beyond its default "square", so I'm wondering if that is the issue, and I need to add more sizes to function.php? This is more than likely a really simple and "duhh" inspiring solution... Could you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I love the smooth slider and I was able to customize some of the look via the admin. But how do I use my own CSS? I see the default and sample css in the directory as well as a css file for each under skins. Can anyone please give me a 101 on how to use these. I'm really in a pinch and this is the plugin the client needs. I just can't seem to get the connection of the css. PLEASE HELP :-)

Smooth Slider Plugin Stalled

I have installed and configured Smooth Slider and it works fine on the preview in the settings. However I only get a blank box on the site page. I used the shortcode [smoothslider id='1'] . The Slider box has the Title in it and that's all!
Is there a solution? Any help would be appreciated. BTW I am using the Semiologic theme.

I can't add Smooth Slider on my index.php because the code in my WP theme is different

Hi,
I'm having problem to install Smooth Slider beacuse you said i should install the code on index.php of my theme but the code in my WP theme is different.
You said i should insert the code like this:

But on the index.php of my theme (Fresh news) the code is like that:

When i try to insert the Smooth Slider code my site stops working and displays a notice, something about syntax error.
How can i insert Smooth Slider code in this code?

I have installed the Post Tabs plugin on WP 3.2.1 and the post is displaying properly on the page. However, I cannot navigate thru the Tab menu unless I refresh the page to see the content under the tab menu. Is there a suggestion how to fix this issue. Does Wordpress Post Tabs supported under this current version?
